After my recent flurry of festive posts, this will be my last one until the new year.
I went through some of my old paper stash and made this.
It's a surprisingly quick and frugal make, which is especially important at this time of year when both money and time seem in especially short supply!
It uses only one sheet from the paper pack, one sheet of red mirricard, and some offcuts/scraps of cardstock (plus of course glue and foam tape).
Each layer is 'gutted' from the same sheet of paper with a craft knife, and then backed onto the red mirri. The border hides the missing area from the layer below and the foam tape gives it some depth.
I'm really pleased with it - hope it inspires!

This is another unfussy masculine design featuring a stag in a wintery scene.
I don't use glitter all that often, but I think it helps add some much needed festive sparkle to this design.

Here are the last from the Hanukkah cards that I made for my friend.
I was asked to combine some purple hearts into this Hanukkah collection, to follow on from a whole collection of purple hearts themed cards I've made for them before (see March 2018 posts). I'm really pleased with how these turned out. And they went down a treat!

Hi Everyone.
I thought I'd share another of the Hanukkah cards I made for my friend.
For this card I went with a traditional blue and gold colour scheme. I wanted there to be some variation - so the candles and flames are cut out of various shades of blue and gold card (which is a good way to use up scraps and off-cuts too).
I finished it off with a multichrome blue/gold ribbon which brings everything together nicely.
